WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI – On December 2nd, 2019, the Macomb County Sheriff’s MACE unit (Macomb Area Computer Enforcement) received a report regarding an Eisenhower High School coach sending sexually explicit text messages to a student who attends Utica Community Schools.
The reporting persons stated that the Eisenhower coach sent sexually explicit text messages to their daughter. The Utica Community School district is aware and did send out a letter regarding this incident. The letter stated that the coach is no longer employed with Utica Community Schools.
At this time, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has only one report regarding this specific incident, meaning only one potential victim. The coach is said to be the Eisenhower High School 9th grade girls’ basketball coach. Eisenhower High School students are 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Players on the Eisenhower 9th grade girls’ basketball team would come from both Malow and Shelby Junior High Schools.
The Eisenhower coach has been cooperative at this time and MACE detectives continue to investigate this incident.
